There's a variety of things, but it's basically a colour blindness test.
There's a book they show you with a circle of small dots. The background is made of dots with several shades of one colour (say, pink), then there's a number in those made of dots of shades of another colour (say, green). They go through several of these with you, and you have to pick out the numbers.
Sorry about your luck, but as Hoghead pointed out, if you're colour blind, you won't be working in Transportation, and there may be other places you can't work either. But check out the requirements for all of the jobs on the railroad, there might be some that don't require colour vision.

It is a standard test for colorblindness.
Bad news. If you are colorblind you won't be able to work in the operating department. Sorry.

It's a green background with red spots, - or was it a red background with green spots? one of the two.
