Oh my goodness (OMG) - In the play, "Little Orphan Anne", the orphan's were always saying, "Oh my goodness" at their troubles ... it's been stuck to our culture ever since.

OMG stands for Oh My Gosh! It is slang but people like to use it instead of typing or writing the words.

Hi, Leili, good for you that you are working on your languages. :) OMG is not a good expression to use. People don't think enough before they use it though. It means, "oh my, God." However, it is NEVER good to call on God unless you are praying. It's not an expression you need to use. Hope this helps. Keep practicing. :)
