People always say to just make something you're good at so that you don't mess it up, so here is the menu;

Appetizer; toast. I make great toast!
Main course; Spaghettios with meatballs (fine cuisine!)
Beverage; choice of Miller Lite (in a can) or watermelon Kool-Aide (in a styrofoam cup)
Dessert; a box of Girl Scout Thin Mints that I've been saving for a special occassion

For ambience I will have a few birthday candles lit at strategic places around the room.

So what do you think?

First off, let me say, hey, Hey, Poster is VERY funny...he's the reason I started coming to this area and the reason I've stayed. Perhaps you don't agree with his sense of humor, but he's definitely NOT wasting time here. You'd be surprised at the massive amount of women he gets with his sense of humor. I happen to know him and he's hardly ever at home because of it...so maybe you should give him a break, ok? I truly love his questions and would miss him if he left. But back to the question at hand....depends on which woman you're entertaining. If it's Vickie, then she'll love it, but Heather, nah, she'll just ask you to take her to McDonald's instead so she can grab a couple Happy Meals before visiting Mr. Happy. I can't remember the strippers name, but I think if you throw a couple dollars her way, she'll be happy as a clam. Oh, maybe I shouldn't tell their real names on here....they may find out about each other, huh? sorry~

That's ok, but maybe you should run down to the local store and pick up some Lasagna ; you can buy the frozen lasagna, and if you follow the directions, you'll be ok; another good one is to find a really good stir fry mix and some steak, or maybe just pick up a couple of cans of really good beef stew or chow mein. Try to pick something she likes and that you'll eat.Buy some good bread or rolls to go with it. Microwave food is fine, so long as its done right. The mints are fine, but put them in a candy dish or plate.Take everything out of the box, and serve everything in a bowl or plate, do not serve anything to her in a box.
Try some wine coolers or a bottle of arbor mist (wine), as beer may not be her favorite thing to drink. Skip the cool-aid, and pick up her favorite soft drink as backup. Save the beer for you, dude, cause you deserve it.
Go by a dollar store on the way home and pick up a candleholder and a dinner candle. Unless its a birthday party, the candles won't stay lit long enough to set a mood.
Cost: 10 to 20 bucks.
Showing her how much you care: priceless.

Whoa! You need help!

Now seriously if your girl is serious about you then no matter what you make won't really matter, "It's the thought that counts", Right?

OK we all know the truth here and you should impress her with your ability to pick an upscale restaurant (of her choice) and treat her to a night out, then come home with a video and crack into Thin Mints you been saving. You could even light those birthday candles for ambiance!!!

Good Luck!

For the appetizer, go for white bread instead of brown.
For the main course, remember to microwave them instead of using a pot on the stove.
For the beverage, you might want to try orange Kool-Aide.
For the dessert, add a little class by skewering them onto a shishkebob stick.

Instead of the candles, invest in a multi-colour disco ball lamp and place it in the middle of the table.

You'll be amazed at the results.

Sounds like quite a romantic affair!!! I do have trouble seeing how thin mint cookies mix with beer and kool-aid though?

If she has a sense of humor like me it would be great! If you really want to cook for her and impress her look up some simple meals to cook and even if it doesn't come out right then she still be happy you tried.

i think that is the most respectful thing a guy could do for a girl but only for the right time. like if she's having a bad day out and you want to cheer her up

I think that's cute and sweet. I would love you if you did that for me(not really but I would feel special). And it's better to keep it simple then to do somehting really hard and have it taste like sh*t. Or you can just get take-out....whatever floats your boat.
