In Europe all hotels must supply access ramps and disabled facilities etc. If you go out of Europe you should probably contact the hotel you are interested in and ask them if they can cater to your particular needs. They don't always have the same capabilities.

Everybody is different, some elderly people need more facilities than others. The best thing to do is check out your chosen hotel on the internet, they usually list their facilities.

One last thing - they all want your business, so if you contact them they will usually try to find ways to accomodate your requirements.

It will obviously depend on which country you plan to visit and how much you are willing to pay for services. You might however have a look at this website: http://www.accessatlast.com/

Otherwise probably try a general internet search for resorts and hotels with accessible accomodations in the particular location that you'd like to visit.
