Those exercises will work your gluteus maximus and tone those muscles - if you're lacking both mass and definition, yes these will help.

But remember, unless you're looking to do very heavy squats, it will be less mass-building and more tone/definition building - which is really what I think you want anyway.

Yep it's true! I like walking lunges, as these really firm you up well. The ladies always like them in class. You can carry some weights after you've done them for awhile. Be sure your steps are big and your knees never go over your toes, your knees must stay in line with your ankles.

Yes...i assume your a woman....and if you're looking for firmness and rounding then do lunges and squats with light weights for high reps.
