It is NOT your fault. It is George Bush's fault. He is to blame for everything. He blew up the levees in New Orleans, destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, and started the Civil War and the War of the Roses, and is now training alligators in Florida to attack black people. It is his desire to end the world. I know for a fact that on June 28, 2008, at precisely 22:00:00 Bush is going to launch a nuclear attack on San Francisco, in the hopes that California will finally vote for a Republican President. After that, he will retire to his ranch in Texas, where he will finally meet with Cindy Sheehan, and she will conceive his love child. When he finally dies, he will join Louie Farrakan and Elijah Mohommed in their spaceship that is circling the earth.

Did Pete say it was your fault, and why wouldn't he be okay?
Very confusing. Poor Pete. Give him a cookie and let him up on the couch. Turn on Jerry Springer for him. Not too loud, in case he wants to nap.

Well, it depends on the situation. If this is very odd for him, or if it was diarrhea, you may want to get a fecal check done at your vet. Otherwise, if you left him locked out on the patio.. dog's gotta go when they gotta go. Eventually, if you leave them for hours on end, or if you have a constant supply of food, they will NEED to defecate. It's just a fact of life.

Why would he not be O.K.? And, why does it have to be someone's fault? It's just a little poop. Clean it up and go on with your life.

Well, this is your fault. you weren't watching him. he just doesn't know this isn't okay. you only discipline a dog when you see it doing something. So you need to quietly clean up his poop, throw it in the toilet or outside. and clean up the odor with natures miracle or something. keep him in your sight when you're around.
