I have. He's now my husband. We were 700 miles apart for 2 years. We saw each other once a month, but we talked on the phone everyday. It can work, it's just a bit harder to keep it together.

I did. We lived 70 miles appart. It lasted about 3 weeks. And it sucked. He had another girlfriend closer to home, his explanation was that she didn't mean anything and he just needed someone to f*** since I wasn't there.
My brother on the other hand had a 5 year long distance relationship, he lived in Cleveland she lived in Chicago and they have been married for 2 years. So it really depends on the fidelity and trust of both people.

I'm in one right now. In college, 3.5 hours away, it's working out okay.. it's not as good as the way our relationship used to be, because I can't physically be with him everynight the way it used to be... but we get away waround it. We talk plenty and even chat on the webcam... ;-)

We've been dating for over 15 months, now. I don't see any breakup in the near OR distant future... You just really have to be committed and deeply in love with him. I'm confident that any long distance relationship can work if you're serious about it.

i know you mentioned adult adult males old yet i do have adventure with this one. the respond is on occasion. Its all on the subject of the attempt it is put in. I had a boyfriend who lived on the city and issues have been rather incredibly reliable. We spent as plenty time collectively as available. He moved away and we tried to maintain it going yet because we could no longer see one yet another all the time and could no longer be on the telephone all the time he stopped putting in attempt rather quickly. on the different hand, on the same time as vacationing buddies and relatives I met an exceptionally super guy and our in trouble-free terms decision replaced into to do the long distance concern if we wanted to have a huge gamble, so we did. we've been collectively for 3 years and now stay in the comparable city. All because of the fact we put in the attempt and we are a reliable tournament.

yes i have had a long distance relationship....no it did not work out...way too hard....we were together almost a year...texas and connecticut.....19 and 22...as far as if any long distance relationships can work i think that it depends on the people and how far long distance is.

Yes, 6 years now. And we just got married in June. He's about 2000 miles away. I'm 30 and he's 31. We're working on bringing him to Canada from the US.

It's very hard to do. The hardest is the first year. You get used to it eventually but you never stop missing them.

It's a bad formula, i tried but the results are difficult to measure or usually are disappointing.
It's a bunch of high expectations, low contact, intense encounters and intriguing-jealous thinking.Because the communication is poor, some times lasts 3 years.
It happen more easy in the 20's.

Yes I had, but it didn't work... In Romania we have a saying: you forget the eyes you don't see. I guess that says all what is to say. It was pretty long before in broke up, but the important thing is that it finally broke... Age and distance doesn't really matter, the final is the same, so my friendly advice to you is to forget your LDR and find yourself someone else... Best of luck
