I am using a Syntax Olevia LT20S 20 and i spotted about 4 dead pixels under the blue display (no program) and do manufacturers give warranty for dead pixels.

While manufacturers will not cover dead pixels under a certain amount, it could make a difference if the dead pixels are always-off or always-on. Always-off pixels are not too noticeable (sounds like what you have), but always-on pixels can be quite disturbing. looking like bright points of light on the screen. In some cases, people have been able to get the manufacturer to replace sets with always-on pixels even though the tolal is less than the limit.

Lower priced LCD screens such as yours ( meaning second or third grade LCD screens , top ones get used on higher priced models )usualy have a few dead pixels .Read your warranty since some manufacturers dont consider anywhere from 4 to 10 dead pixels a reason to exchange TV .

No, it is not unusual to spot few dead pixels on a brand new LCD teevee. Not too sure about the warranty thing though.

It's a pretty common problem unfortunately. They will replace it if they have enough dead pixels. Every brand has its own understanding of "enough".

there is extremely no longer something you're able to do approximately it. they are everlasting. I extremely have one on my liquid crystal exhibit that bothers me while the exhibit screen is black on a similar time as watching video clips. It glows a dazzling crimson. i will stay with it.
