Fact: A "Prepare to Deploy" command has been sent to an Aegis-class cruiser, two minesweepers, two mine hunters, and a submarine telling the ships’ commanders to be ready to move by Oct. 1.
Fact: The Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) has requested a fresh look at long-standing U.S. plans to blockade two Iranian oil ports on the Persian Gulf.
Conclusion: Iran my not be there this time next year.
Thoughts, people?

Woah, there, Jimmy-Boy... I'm not sure what you're ranting about there, cowboy, but maybe you need to keep your spurs from jangling.

It would seem so.
The government has ignored reports from the UN which say that Iran has no nuclear weapon capability, and no plans to build any.
As you say, it has put the navy in position.
We know Bush wants to go to war there.
All that's needed now is another 9/11 hoax, blamed on Iranians, and the war will start.

If he goes for the all or nothing approach he'll come up snake eyes. We will all pay a huge price for this massive screw up. The moves and leaking of naval orders are probably just to put some fear in the Iranians unfortunately they already know they've won and that there is nothing useful we can do to them. They will interpret this move as propaganda and ignore it . It should be noted that at this time the entire Iranian military is on maneuvers so they are ready to respond in kind to bush's stupidity. If bush hits Iran, Iran hits the Persian gulf refineries over 50% of worlds gas supply out of action for a minimum of 5 years. This will make the great depression look like a down day on wall street.

it extremely is totally probably that Iran is next, right here is why: Bush declared Iran between the Axis of Evil Bush has sent a Battleship and help ships to the section it extremely is been stated that 4 US Nuclear Submarines are in that section Iran maintains to oppose the UN Sanctions by persevering with it extremely is nuclear aims "comments" of Israeli missions to bomb Iran have been claimed by the Sunday situations in London (Israel is a US best pal) Bush reported the US won't tolerate Iranian interference in Iraq Iran is neighbor to Iraq which already hosts over a hundred,000 US troops (how handy) Bush purely has under 2 years in place of work, so this seems to be coming near near Congress is conscious the probability of a "nuclear" Iran, so inspite of what they "say", there is little they're going to "do" to oppose the conflict Iran's President is loopy adequate pursue conflict with the US

I fear you are right, especially with the Child Idiot in charge
.
I don't mean this very seriously, but Nostradamus predicted the end of the world coming out of the middle East.
However...
The intelligent amongst us can sort it out. Frighteningly.....that doesn't seem to include the people who have influence in Iran.
Historically........I think this manoevre is called 'brinksmanship'. Eisenhower and JFK kept their nerves.
Dubya....a little twitchy with too much power...............could...and probably will..............blow us all to hell.
But that's ok...........he'll be bunkered down someplace on his ranch.
BTW.............I like your name...Saint.....

I hope not. The USA already has its nose in too many other countries' business.
And Iran had BETTER be there next year.
