I've searched for a good chocolate chip cookie recipe for years and didn't stop trying new ones until I found the most perfect recipe. The chocolate chip cookie recipe in Baking Illustrated (Cooks Illustrated's cookbook) is the most amazing cookie I've ever had in my whole life and I have yet to share it with someone who hasn't said that as well. It's crunchy on the edges and chewy in the middle. It isn't overly sweet. Oh, it's just heaven. You absolutely have to try it.

My grandmother's molasses cookies. Unlike ginger cookies (or snaps), these are soft. Maybe part of why they're my favorite is because I can remember my grandmother always had a fresh batch or was in the process of making a batch when I was there. There's just something about the smell of them that reminds me of simpler days!

Shortbread, has to home made. I also LOVE Ranger cookies, but since I left Texas I haven't been able to find them anywhere. I am going back just for the cookies!

Well I'd have to say Sugar cookies because they have that sweet taste but it's not too sweet.LOL.Plus I LOVE ALL COOKIES b/c I'm pregnant and the baby loves sweets!!!

Chocolate chip/pecan cookies made with Ghiradelli chocolate and some oatmeal. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I like the taste, the consistency and the buttery flavor. Hmmmm, butter.

Chocolate Chip Cookies made from the old Toll House recipe! Oh, yeah! Yummmmm!! When my mom used to make them, my brother and I would keep sneaking them off of the plate. By the time that she served them, half of them were gone. Of course, I'm sure that Mom knew that we were taking them. (:

I love two different ones. Oreo's because they taste so good when you dump them in a glass of milk, and I love, absolutely love peanut butter cookies, why, because they are so delicious.
