Well there's this guy in my school and I really like him. I get vibes that he is interested in me then at times I don't. My friends keep telling that he does like me but that he's too shy. At my friends quincenera, we finallly talked. The next day back to school people were talking about it. We haven't talked since her party, yet we still get these "looks"from each other. There's this freshman girl at school trying to get him also. Then a few weeks ago I find out that the guy I like and her are going to Homecoming together. Yet we still get these looks from each other. What should I do?

Hon, do you know if he asked the freshman girl to the Homecoming dance, or if she asked him? That makes a difference. If he asked her, he may be more interested in her than you....but if she asked him, he may have said yes simply because he wanted a date and didn't know if you were going to ask him.

It's also hard to figure out if he really likes you based on "looks" alone. If you've only talked once (at the quincenera), you probably don't know enough about him to truly like him. If this is something you truly want to pursue, make an effort to talk to him and get to know him better. If he responds and seems interested, ask him to go out sometime! If not, you may need to move on and find a bolder guy who's not too shy to show you how he feels.

Best of luck...my thoughts & prayers are with you!

Why put so much effort into someone who has shown you virtually nothing. Either that or just relax and give it time to develop. In the mean time have fun with other interest. There is no need to rush.
Oh yea...by the way do your best to excel in your grades...sooner or later you will have to depend on yourself...best prepare yourself now.

Ya, move on. He may be interested but you know how friends can play a big role in your decision making... If he's taking her to homecoming and not you, than he's just not good enough for you!!
