I have experienced the same. i have gone out of my way to track down those that I could. Without making too much of a display I tried to tell them that I realize I was a jerk and that i apologize. You will feel better and maybe they will. Maybe they could care less but they certainly won't be bothered by your approach. just remember that it is really for you that you are doing this and don't kid yourself into thinking you are doing something wonderful for them, and don't be put off if they do not react the way you want them too.
If you make an honest effort to track down those you hurt the most you will feel better even if you can't find them.

I can say i never acted in such a way , what you describe is a personality defect , treating people like dirt and walking over folks on your way to the top does not equate with sucess in my book , and for you to try an apoligize is pointless , you got what you were after , you hurt and treated people like dirt , now you feel guilt and sorrow , as you very well should , I think you ought to ask The loard for forgiveness and dont worry about the people you messed over , I assure you they have moved on and your actions are just a memory to them . Change you attitude and make every effort to be a better person with the rest of your life .........

First know that if you have asked God for forgiveness you are forgiven and He does not remember or condemn you.
Second, the fact that you feel bad is a good thing. It means you are convicted and the Holy Spirit is working on you.
Third, apologize to those you can and move on knowing "there is no condemnation to those who love the Lord."
Keep pressing toward the mark
Love in Jesus' name

We all make mistakes and need to let go of them if the people we hurt have been able to. Just let go and chalk it up as a learning experience and don't do it again
Also, do some nice things for someone

That is a universal problem and not so easy to answer in this forum... I will offer you the address for my forgivness page. this might be of some help.
sometimes it is not possable or even advisable to directly go to others to seek forgivness or peace... it could just dredge up old wounds and make it worse... But God can and dose forgive all... and it is his guidence that is needed in deciding when and where and with whom to seek reconciliation or forgivness.
her is the direct link so you will not have to wade through my website to find it.

Just apologize to the people you run into. If you are not the same now, and are a better person, just be thankful you acknowledge your mistakes. Don't be hard on yourself

make as many contacts as possible, but of those you can't contact, pray about them. Ask Heavenly Father to bless them with a forgiving heart to what you have done to them and repent in your prayer of what you have done.
I have done that very thing, and I know He hears my prayers. I have also been baptized and recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost to recieve a full remission of my past transgressions. I know I am forgiven as I forsake my past transgressions. Would you like to know more? Please go to www.mormon.org

It appears that you have learned one of lifes lessons. i guess if you dont know how to contact these people. the only think you can do is take what youve learned and change how you were. just use it to make yourself a better person. and if you do happen to run into these people that youve hurt....tell them.

Make a good faith effort to contact them and if you can't, then just resolve to be a better person in the future.
