God knows your heart and asking for repentence is different then asking for forgiveness, repenting means to say i am sorry then to turn away from it and asking forgiveness is just sayin i am sorry will you forgive me.

acording to christians you can commit any and all sins for an entire life time and all you have to do is accept jesus as your savior and repent moments before you die and you will be forgiven of all the evil you have done. however you can do a life time of pure good and still go to hell if you are not a christian
