I moved and thought a kennel permit would be no problem but the board shut us down. Now we have 30 days to find a home for them.

List them on www.petfinder.com
Talk to a local rescue and see if they will help you find homes for them. Get them all spayed and neutered!!!! These are 17 dogs that now need homes, and do not need to be breeding to create more dogs that will need future homes!

Go to http://www.friendsofanimals.org for cheap spay and neuter certificates.

Place an ad in the paper, and make sure that wherever you list them you charge a fee. That will cover the spay/neuter. I'd charge $100.

I'm assuming they all have their vaccinations, so if they do, make sure that is clear in their ads...

Good luck!

Contact the local pet rescue society/agencies (and the nearest Husky rescue as well). You may need the help of more than one group to handle that many dogs. You don't mention why you had 17 dogs...even as a breeder that is a heck of a lot of dogs! I wouldn't wait tho...30 days isn't far off and it is going to take a lot of work on your part. Lesson learned...always check on rules and permits before you take along your dog!

http://www.siberianrescue.com/ Look here for contacts. If you know breeders that would be willing to help you, I would give them a call as well. It is a hard thing to place everyone. I hope that you can. Try a rescue before deciding on a humane society. Get in touch with as many breeders near you as possible.

Depends on what state you live in?? If you live close to me... bring 'em over! We house rescue dogs all the time and have got plenty of space for all of them until you get set back up or find homes for them.

There should be a Huskie rescue group somewhere that may be able to place them. If they are healthy and don't have any behaivoral problems, they might be able to place them fairly quickly.
