Well to make the pineapple into a cup like container you have to cut off the leafy green end and then scoop or cut out the pineapple inside being careful not to pierce the bottom or sides of the pineapple. Then you can take the pineapple and crush it into a liquefied pulp in a blender and add/blend that into your favorite drink such as a rum punch and pour it back into the hollowed out pineapple and serve with a straw. It's probably just going to require some careful scooping and cutting. You'll have to use a spoon to scoop out the pineapple around the core and then as you expose more of the core cut it with a knife. It might get tricky as you go deeper into the rind so just be careful of how much pressure you use when cutting and scooping. Good luck!!

scoop out the inside of the pineapple,and then you can use it either to make a pina colada or a smoothie with pineapple,OJ and yogurt

Cup the top off of the pinapple and use an ice-cream scoop to take out the fruit.
