Ok I know I'm not a guy. But depends on what kind of a fib it was. Have you tried going to him? Really laying your apology on thick? Personally unless it's something really big I'm usually over it before the fight even ends. Grudges don't help anyone. Give him some time. But it's hard to say much since I don't know what the fib was. Trust is a very big thing in a relationship remember that. And think about if the situation had been reversed. If he had told this fib to you how fast would have forgiven him?

Depends on how bad the lie is. Most of the time I'm good like 5 seconds later. Occassionally it take a couple of hours and every once in a great while it may be a day. I can tell you this, if you did something that made me mad for a day or more... when you see me, I'm packing up my stuff.

He's mad at that!!! Ugh, get over it dude. He should have been mad for all of 2 seconds.

Well its according what you lied about really. If it's a small lie then just give him a little time it will pass. If it's a big lie then you better call him and apologize. In a relationship you have to be honest. Lying only causes problems now and later when someone else lies about you and he don't know what to believe because you lied to him before. Tell him you are really sorry and want to make things up to him. Take him a little gift or something. Believe it or not guys even like to be treated special to. Most guys won't admit to it but its true. Stay true to him. If you really like him do whatever it take to make things right and then be careful to keep it that way. God bless and good luck!!

Hon, I know an hour seems like an eternity when someone's mad at you, but it's really not that long. :) When someone makes me upset, I usually need a day or two to have some space and process the issue. If the lie you told was more serious, it could take a longer period of time for your boyfriend to trust you again. It's never pleasant to find out that your boyfriend or girlfriend lied to you...so I would give him his space and let him talk to you when he's ready.
Best of luck...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :)

You shouldn't of lied...he may have lost a lot of trust in you. I would be mad for awhile too, if someone I trusted flat out lied to me. It may seem like a little "fib" to you, but he sees it as a BIG deal. Lies always ruin relationships, always.
