The pope called Islam a violent faith. What is interesting that they react in violence. I say that the pope proved his point intelligently.

Muslims are given too lots interest by the media. earlier 9/11 no person lots paid any interest to them. yet now they have the worlds finished interest and that they are utilising it. they're a sorry bunch. The Byzantine Emperor that the Pope quoted replaced into impressive. today the Muslim has blackmailed the entire civilized international with violence. Have they ever contributed something of fee to the human race? I recommend considering they domesticated the Camel? and that they did this by beating it little doubt.

Ignorant Muslims.
That's the word to describe all the Muslims who protest violently and insist that their religion is peaceful !
All the countries where the Muslims protested, like Indonesia, India, Pakistan, West Bank..... the protests were raised by the uneducated, jobless, good for nothing scum-bags of society. (A few prominent people did jump in to be 'noticed'). These people are living in their own time and world without any modern education.
Many other Muslims who know the world around them, practice their faith peacefully and silently. They could be more vocal, but no, they prefer to keep quite or be killed.

Those who are saying such a thing are wrong and acting unIslamic. For crying out loud the Prophet was insulted to his face and physically abused by his enemies yet he did not take revenge or harm them ...he just prayed for them. Where are we from the Prophet(pbuh)...we claim to love him ...but don't follow his ways!. I mean a nun was killed and churches were burnt..what has happened to our ummah? .. The Prophet ordered us not to harm places or people of worship during war time... and today some so-called Muslims commit these crimes for an insult that came out of ignorance?! .. I know it was probably done by few people but still it should have not happened. Remember what the Prophet said about harming non-Muslims in Muslim land?.. He said it's as if it's causing harm to the Prophet himself. So, it beat the point doesn't it..

I think you misunderstood these people. Try to understand that most of these people are from third or second world countries and believe me, they have no life. That is why they are into this Jihad thing. Contribute some PS2s or some DVD entertainment system with a large catalogue of movie titles and I can bet you that they will leave this Jihad thing and embrace modern technology.

LOL are they really calling for his death because he read what another long-dead pope said about islam? How pathetic they are! Somebody needs to air-drop some crap for them to play with, they have way too much time on their hands and pent-up frustration, really.

Yep. When Christians and Jews are attacked, they don't do anything other than protest and write letters to the editor (to publish anything that smacks of anti-Semitism in Europe is punishable by imprisonment; in the Middle East, anti-Jewish cartoons are published without protest).
And when Christians and Jews are attacked, the Muslim community remains silent for some reason.

Yup. Though I believe it's the view of a relatively few extremist Muslims, (not the majority) their response to the Pope's ill-fated quote seems to be, "If you dare call us murderers we will kill you." I also find it odd that End-Times evangelical followers of the Prince of Peace are praying pushing and lobbying for Armageddon.

If they disagree with what the Pope said, why are they doing what he said?
Besides, he was only quoting a 14th century Byzantine Emperor. The whole thing was taken out of context. It's almost as if someone who read or heard the statement was looking for something to growl, fight, and firebomb about.

Not ironic at all.
Radical Islam is staying on course.
And they're showing the world what they are made of.
Intolerance, contempt, evil.
