Recently, I saw a puppy in someones car. They told me the name of the dog- and I forget it now. It is some hybrid cross- something like a caine corso / mastiff / presa canario?? Any how it is supposed to be the new "super-dog" Bred for guard, protection and agression - not in the professional sense either- more like for people with bad intentions who don't care about their dogs. If you are a breeder who is RESPONSIBLE and KNOWLEDGEABLE- I was not talking to you in the last sentence. Does anyone know what this is, and the name please? Anyother info would br great as well.

I did not BUY the dog, I saw it, and was talking to the lady who was bottle feeding it- at 4 weeks old. I wanted to look it up on the internet- the breed.

FYI people Presa's have been around for YEARS. Read up before you say stupid things.
I have two of them Karma & Icon and they are beautiful dogs do not be discouraged by them. They are calm but VERY protective.
When they bark it's serious.
I will put it like this. If a pit bull came charging at you it stands no chance. Do not cross breed them either. It takes away from their intelligence.

Sounds like another breeder/owner who is trying to make the ultimate testerone dog. How unfair to the dog..both the basic breeds and the resulting pups...since any negative results will reflect poorly on all of them. What is with people crossing breeds and declaring them "the next new breed"? Leave cross breedling to the people who know what to look for. If it happens by accident, then it isn't a new breed or a hybrid...it's just a cross breed or a lovalbe mutt!

PRESA CANARIOS ARE VERY VERY VERY powerful, potentially dangerous dogs. Yes, I believe that you should "punish the deed and not the breed" BUT - do you remember the lacrosse teacher in San Diego that was eaten alive by dogs in her apartment building while taking in the groceries. THEY WERE PCs. The Presacanarios are frequently used by the white supremacy groups here in the US for protection. Do not buy this breed. Do not let your animals near this breed. Do not put your hands in the window of the car of this breed. Stay away.
Sheep dog herd sheep naturally because that is what they've been bred to do. PCs are highly agressive and UNFORTUNATELY, highly unqualified people purchase these dogs for mal intentions.....chances are, you ran into one of these people. Hope it helps.
