Pretty short, they aren't very accurate so a couple of hundred yards against (the side) of an armored vehicle. They're good against bunkers and such though.

The Lightweight Multipurpose Weapon M136 (AT4) is a portable, short-range assault weapon that fires an 84-mm. cartridge from an expendable tube that also serves as the weapon launcher. It is a Swedish-manufactured shoulder-fired recoilless weapon used against light armor and materiel targets. It incorporates a disposable launcher and a cartridge case that contains a fin-stabilized, high-explosive, shaped-charge projectile. The weapon weighs 14.6 pounds and has a lethal effective range of more than 300 meters. It replaces the less powerful and shorter range Light Antitank Weapon (LAW) M72. Production is under way in Sweden, and initial fielding to U.S. Army units began in early 1987. Production in the United States is expected to commence during FY 1988.

Maximum range for the AT4 rocket is listed as 2100 meters.
Maximum effective range for the rocket however, is listed as only 300 meters.
I have read some conflicting papers and manuals concerning the weapons minimum range. For practice excercises it is listed as 30 meters. In combat it seems to vary depending on the source from 10 - 15 meters.

M136 AT4 The M136 AT4 is the Army's primary light anti-tank weapon. The M136 AT4 is a recoilless rifle used primarily by Infantry Forces for engagement and defeat of light armor. The recoilless rifle design permits accurate delivery of an 84mm High Explosive Anti-Armor warhead, with negligible recoil. The M136 AT4 is a lightweight, self-contained, antiarmor weapon consisting of a free-flight, fin-stabilized, rocket-type cartridge packed in an expendable, one-piece, fiberglass-wrapped tube. The M136 AT4 is man-portable and is fired from the right shoulder only. The launcher is watertight for ease of transportation and storage. Unlike the M72-series LAW, the M136 AT4 launcher need not be extended before firing. Though the M136 AT4 can be employed in limited visibility, the firer must be able to see and identify the target and estimate the range to it. Subsequent to the initial fielding of the weapon, a reusable night sight bracket was developed and fielded. It permits utilization of standard night vision equipment. The system's tactical engagement range is 250 meters and has been used in multiple combat situations. The round of ammunition is self-contained in a disposable launch tube. The system weighs 15 pounds and can be utilized effectively with minimal training.
