She was eating at first. All other funtions are normal, but now she stopped eating. We ran blood test - which came out normal. X-rays showed now blockage. Now we are trying taking her off of her anti-depressant (prescribed for separation anxiety) for 48 hours to see if that helps. Thursday my vet will refer me to an internal specialist if she hasn't eaten on her own. Since I elaborated, has anyone seen this problem before. I'm not adverse to spending $ on her to find out what is wrong.

Allergic reaction to his food. Have you changed the food brand? I also experienced this years ago when I realized there was also still soap in the water bowl from cleaning.

could be sensitive stomach, tumor somewhere else or a blockage that they can see on an x-ray. Have they told you to change the food or try a stomach coating med to help with vomiting and give your dog a bland diet?

Maybe the food she is having is too rich for her. How about mixing a little cereal in with the food, such as weetabix. It's worth a try!

perhaps there is something in the dog food... try different brands of dog food to find the one that he likes and stays down... lamb and rice formula is widely used for puppies ... try that kind!
