Ok, here comes the honestly - youre a phucking moron....
Try reading some history. You will learn that if it were not for muslims, much of the science we have today would be non-existent. While Christianity had the world mired in the Dark Ages, Muslims the world over were making progress in science and map making. You can thank them for, number one, HAVING NUMBERS. The Roman system certainly wasnt a great system...WTF is LXIII times DCL, minus IV? Thanks to the muslims for finding a better way of communicating these ideas...

Are you kidding me???.... it's because of Muslims you get to learn many of the stuff you're learning in Math in Science. Ever heared of Algebra... in arabic al-jibrah.Muslims discovered the equations of the second degree, and very soon after they developed the theory of quadratic aquations and the binomial theorem. Not only algebra geometry and arithmetic, but optics and mechanics made remarkable progress in the hands of the Muslims. They invented spherical trigonometry; they were the first to apply algebra to geometry, to introduce the tangent, and to substitute the sine for the arc in trigonometrical calculations. Their progress in mathematical geography was no less remarkable". Even the so-called enlightened west which has at times taken pains to minimise the greatness of Muslim achievements in furthering the cause of human civilization, had to admit, though half heartedly, the outstanding part played by the Arabs. "For with this limited ambition", says Carra De Vaux in Legacy of Islam, "the Arabs have really achieved great things in science; they taught the use of ciphers, although they did not invent them, and thus became the founders of arithmetic of every day life; they made algebra an exact science and developed it considerably and laid the foundations of analytical geometry; they were indisputably the founders of plane and spherical trigonometry which, properly speaking, did not exist among the Greeks"." Thus Muslims were pioneers in the development of mathematical sciences in mediaeval times.

Yes! Unlike Christanity, Judiasm, Hinduism etc. which have historical evidence of forbidding science and social studies, Islam encourges learning. As a matter of fact, Prophet Muhammed ( SAW) made it compulsory for all Men and Women to get knowledge and learning no matter who much effort it needs. Ironically Muslims today forgot this message and their literacy rates a shamefully low.

just to let u know, Islam promotes education for men and women equally. the reason for that is to keep the ignorance away from them. and yes educated ppl r highly respected. It is the muslim society that is drwoniing into darkness and indeed turning away from the true teachings of islam. if all the muslims follow islam the right way, there wouldn't be any suicidal bombers....
infact our Prophet MUhammad(PBUH) said that educate urself, even if u have to travel further from ur home to be educated but learn.....

Well, why are the Muslims keep telling us how great they were?
They are still thinking about the past, do they have anything new and valuable to offer to this modern world?
Do they know the meaning of improvement and modernization? The Japanese and Chinese have thousands of years of history, are they standing still and letting the world going pass?

in ancient Islamic ages, Muslims invented algebra and studied stars and universe,,, and many other things,,, it is not a sin to get (non-religious) knowledge,,,
actually,,, Muslims' holy book (Kuraan) is pushing them to learn, it encourage thinking how we are created and how our body works, it talks about universe, earth, sky, clouds, levels of the oceans, it also talks about some insects and animals,, it talks about many such things
i remember that a Muslim guy asked a question before and he included many such things Kuraan talks about,,
and by the way,, prophet Mohammad of Islam said "the one who go out for seeking knowledge,, is considered as if he is going in the sake of God until he gets back"

I echo the answer of invincible, der!
And like Muslims (said "v"), Jews too have no conflict with science and religion. Perhaps you ought to redirect your question to another group of answerers.
