I really think we need to start teaching economics classes prior to high school in this country, as some of the below posts demonstrate.

I see you expanded on why we should abolish the Federal Reserve with quotes from Presidents from a long tmie ago.
I wish you would have given an argument instead of placing quotes, as I find it hard to consider the quotes, because in the context of their age, they were not given in today's global economy- and are perhaps less relevant.
I'll leave this question for another question.

Do they have a pulse?
Are they a registered as a Democrat?
Are they not named Hillary and/or Clinton?
The only way the Dem's can screw this up is to run Hillary or a convicted felon. Not comparing the two, but Hillary polarizes the nation and there are a lot of people that will register and get off their duff just to vote against her.
Other than that, I think most of the incumbents in Congress and the House are going to be fired! WHOO HOO!!!

Top One: The Economy, again. The huge ta breaks the rich have received actually OUTWEIGHS the huge cost of Bush's War on weapons of mass invisibility in Iraq. The country yearns for a whole lot of Clinton-like economics where we pay as we go.
Top Two: The War on No one and everyone. We will yearn for a President who will never, ever go into a country guns blazing and adopt that country for a much longer term that it takes to paralyze its ability to cause the U.S harm.
Top Three: Global Warming. Conservatives still do not acknowledge its existance; but enought of them will see that it is possibly happening even though all kinds of proof is happening right in their faces.

Gee, no wonder we're in the hell hole we created...
Let's try this out for size:
1.Constitutional Guarantees
2.Plans for abolishing the Central Bank of America (Federal Reserve)
3.Foreign Policy Review with respect to National and Human Rights. (Not Resource Re-Allocation.)
Gee, think any president elect will cover that? Or keep pushing this idiotic "War on Terror"
"Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and
commerce." -- James A. Garfield, President of the United States
"A great industrial nation is controlled by it's system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated
in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely
controlled and dominated governments in the world--no longer a government of free opinion, no
longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and
duress of small groups of dominant men." --President Woodrow Wilson

The presidential candidate I vote for in 2 years will have a FEASIBLE plan to:
1. Slow unemployment and keep jobs in the United States.
2. Reduce the number of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and turn those countries back over to their citizens.
3. Reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

It may all boil down to can Liberal Democrats realise yes they can hijack the party but they still can't get a real liberal elected as president.
Clinton ran as a moderate and won. Gore and Kerry weren't centerist enough to get elected. There are a lot of Conservative Democrats and many Moderate Democrats who won't buy the, let's pander to those 'special interest' groups, pushed so hard by the Liberals.
The Democratic party used to be called the party of the 'common' man and they were strong. Most Conservative Democrats will vote for the most conservative candidate even if the candidate isn't a Democrat.

Energy costs. The candidate must be willing to commit to a large scale deployment of a broad range of energy saving technology for homes, business, and transportation.
The War in Iraq. We must get out now. We must also commit to perform a surgically precise and devastating attack against anyone who performs a terrorist attack against any US citizen anywhere in the world.
The Budget. Deficit Spending must stop now. My friend JC says it well on his web site www.greatreality.com:
"If we never pay off a nickel of the National Debt, we still have to pay the interest on it, every day of every year. Working people pay it, one way or another. This month, your share of that interest, assuming you're a typical employed person in the U.S., is over $200. And you are paying it—you have no choice."

War - Time to wrap it up, but not until the government of Iraq is able to stand on its own.
Immigration - Taking control of our Southern border is extremely important to our national security. Also we need to close the doors to illegal immigrants that our tax dollars are paying to have "anchor babies" and subsequently supporting them through social programs and our public school system.
Taxes - Abolish the IRS and implement a national sales tax.

Unless dictator-in-the-making Jeworge W Bush is stopped, there won't be a "next president".
The turkey is selling out America as fast as he can go now.
Google North American Union and North American Security Pac if you don't believe me.
Bush MUST be stopped before it is too late to keep the USA an independent nation.

Sex - Leave the G*ddamn Constitution & my civil libs alone Zealots!
(If RW Republicans insist on making prayer manditory, outlawing scientific reason, and hate legislation let them do it in thier churches) The rest of us would rather not take part in thier holy war. America was founded by people trying to ESCAPE the church's wrath, and these folks in government are pushing for it now.
