Any guy who would leave a woman to be with another woman would leave another woman to be with yet ANOTHER woman.
And it's a sign that you picked a popular song.
Don't be a sucker.

No, it's called a coincidence. It's amazing the things that somebody will notice and interpret as a "sign" when that's what they're looking for. I know he was separated when you met him, but he's not now. Even if you aren't sleeping together, you're still saying that you've got a "emotional connection". I'd leave him alone, no contact and let him get his head on straight. If he's staying with his wife for the kids as you've mentioned, then he needs to be with his wife to see if he's going to be able to stick it out. As long as he's having any sort of relationship with you, that means he's not giving everything to his marriage. His wife doesn't deserve that and you don't either. You deserve someone who wants to and is willing to give you 100%, not split his time between 2 women.

STOP IT...take it from me...I dated a married man for eight years waiting on him to leave his wife...it's not going to happen. A married man will tell you ANYTHING to keep you around, whether you had sex or not. Is the song on the radio popular right now? That's why you're hearing it all the time...
There is a reason that he's staying with his wife. "It's for the kids" is for the birds. That's the oldest excuse in the book girl.
Please be careful~

Hard to say!! He needs to close one door before he opens another. Put yourself in his wife and children's shoes. I would limit my contact w/ him until he makes a clean break from his wife. If that is what he really wants to do. One thing you need to find out for sure is that he isn't leaving his wife for you.You DON"T want that, because he may be leaving YOU for someone else a year from now. Play is safe and keep your distance for now. Good luck

He can maintain a relationship with his kids without having to be with his ex. Men do it all the time. What he said is pure rubbish. I wouldn't be surprised if she had someone on the side.
