I am getting two pairs of a/d/s/ 6.5" speakers and an a/d/s/ amp. What would be worthy to put in the dash to play CDs and MP3s with this high end sound system? I will spend up to $1500 just for the player if it will really make a difference in sound quality.
Please don't post info about alpine or panasonic stuff you bought at best buy or something like that. Audio enthusiasts only please.

I would say your crazy if you spent 1500 on a deck unless it was a flip out screen type that played dvd's and the works but regardless i would go with pioneer, they have some of the best sounding and looking decks

i would go with, and did go with a pioneer n3. gps, mp3 and about anything else you could ever want. eclipse makes a great gps system too, but it cots more.
