If you're homeschooled just grab the classics and other books higher than your grade or age level. Why would you need to be on an A.R program?

AR is expensive. You're getting off using something like Readability Studio or something else to find the grade levels for particular books.

The AR program is prohibitively expensive for homeschooling. You might check out book adventures at http://www.bookadventure.com/
It has book lists by reading level, and quizzes you can access for books read. Your child earns points for prizes through them, or for parent provided prizes.

very simple, especially for kids. Teach them to cover their left eye with their hand and read out from a book or something. They'll be able to concentrate, read and remember for long.
