No war can be "holy" for Christians are to be peaceable with all people.
Romans 12:18--"If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men."
God has promised that soon the earth will be a peaceful place, populated with meek, honest-hearted worshippers of God.
Psalms 37:9-11--" For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
Without war, there will be peace and this is what the prophet Isaiah foretold at Isaiah 2:4--"He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore."

Because the war that will be taking place is a war full of evil marta farta's that how! Unfortunately, a lot of innocent people are going to be abolished in the process. Hey-----all you have to do is pick up your bible and read Revelation. If this sh/t continues on this planet the way it's going it's going to look like 2 movies I've seen: The Terminator and Fort Apache The Bronx!

You see 1st of all you all are just worrying about what's going to happen to America the beautiful! Oh well the picture is so much broader then that! You all better wake up and instead of concentrating on Israel, Iraq, Iran and America the Beautiful, you better start worrying about this entire damn ball called a globe! There is way more evil then good on this planet and if the young people don't be the ones to stop this bullsh/t, our a*ses are f*cking doomed! And that's for real!

Only if George Bush is a prophet or divinely appointed king.

Christianity, George's professed religion, teaches non-violence. I've read the New Testament. They are supposed to be turning the other cheek and praying for their enemies, not murdering the enemies along with the innocents who happen to get in the way.

God in the old testament commanded Israel at certain situations to not just war against other nations but to completely destroy them. However, these nations were hostile to Israel anyway. Even Muslims are saying that the holy war waged today is immoral. God could not have wanted this war, He only orders war when the people against whom He is warring will do nothing but kill His elect.

Why do you think there is no place for violence in religion? The Bible is the most violent book that I know, as it describes how God is repeatedly ordering genocide. I asked here how people deal with those parts of Bible, there were Christians who wrote me that those massacres were right because these peoples were so evil that they had to be eliminated.

It can't be holy because of the violence. Violence brings forth destruction and spews hate towards those who believe differently.

If you refer to Islam this term "holy war"is not used and not known before the west fabricated it and accused Islam of it. If you study the purpose of war and the ethics of it in Islam you will be amazed and most probably you will start to defend Islam rather that attacking it.

There is a war in religion. what kind. if a missionary is not let alone in a certain country for example let say Mexico. And missionaries are not allowed or there is no equal ground for every religion in that country. Religiously it is OK to invade that country to provide ground for free religion for all, therefore freedom for missionaries to expand.or for defence. there is no other exception.

There is spirtual warefare all the time, oh and i cannot wait for religion to die. God Bless.
