In Matthew there is a scripture that says children have guardian angels, but some scholars say that the word "children" is referring to us all. It's a very brief passage though. Since it isn't mentioned more extensively, it's probably not something we really need to even be concerned with.
I tend to dwell more on the Holy Spirit guiding and protecting me.

i believe that God with the help of angels give us a hedge of protection throughout my day, or when i am driving. But even if we don't have angels following us around i can surely say that we have Jesus with us at all times, He will never leave us nor forsake us, and if God is for us who can be against us.

yes, spirit guides sounds like sylivia brown to me but yes catholics due to some verses in the bible whihc i cant look for now... and guardian angels of cities..
