Well....I don't think I quite know where you stand in your beliefs based on your question. But, you seem to have both sides of the fence covered there.
I am a Christian. And as far as the reasons for doubting, I disagree with these things. I do not find any contradictions in the Bible. I think people find contradictions for two reasons. 1. Because they pick every little thing apart until they find what they believe is contradiction, and 2. because they do not take the time or effort to actually study a Concordance to find the true meaning of that passage. God also says that (paraphrasing here) that the lost will not be able to understand His book.
As far as the disagreements between religions, all I can say is, This is what happens when God's Word is twisted, turned and manipulated to be something that a person wanted it to be, not what God wants or meant it to mean. I could go on and on about the rest, but I will just leave my answer at this.

first part - Yes, of course. The question is about religions and of course they are man-made. Religion is a system of laws and beliefs established to govern a group of people to insure survival.
second part - Mixed. I have already stated that I believe "religions" are man-made but I feel that there is more behind your question. I do believe there is a God and I believe in Jesus so I feel a, "Christian vs Atheist debate" coming on. It is excruciatingly difficult to reconcile to a linear modality the concepts of Faith. Science and Faith are two vastly different approaches to truth. Science for the most part deals with the natural, physical reality and Faith deals with the supernatural, spiritual reality. Conflicts arise when we believe they rule each other out or are in some way at odds with one another. Outside of human interpretation, the universe just "IS" and spiritual and physical truths are in harmony.
Faith is the process of imagination and work by with something is created or made. Although it is defined within a religious context, it is not exclusively a religious notion. Anyone who paints, draws, designs, creates anything must first "see" it within their imagination. First comes the dream (spiritual reality) and then the (physical) reality. In view of this, it is therefore an oxymoron to ask for physical proof of a spiritual truth because the bridge is not yet built. You can not drive over the river on a bridge still only on the drawing board.
It is however possible to see what has already been made oor created and give respect to the artist. I believe that by faith, God created the universe.

If we could have stayed true to the pure religion that began with Christ we'd be so much happier. Down through the ages man has warped what He intended. The only thing that is "enough" is God Himself! We do not have to prove His existence. We know He exists by faith and faith alone. The one, true account of God's Holy Word is the Bible. There will always be differences in interpretations of His Word.

Of course religions are man-made.... They are the human attempt to describe and connect with the Divine.
Every religion begins with some premise/understanding/perception of the Truth usually proposed by a great teacher. Followers who are less evolved in their understanding try to continue such teachings based upon their limited understanding creating a dogma which evolves into a system of rituals and beliefs based upon the original premises.
This does not discount the existence of God or the Divine. Only shows how limited we are in our understanding of it.

What is there to doubt, it is. To many times we look at religion and not at our relationship with our/your God and what that really means to you the individual. The initial concept of religions was suppose to have a positive affect by offering a person guidance on practicing his faith, but as time went by it has been open to abuse by selfish people who are eager to manipulate the weak amongst us (looking for true guidance).
I know within me what is right and what is wrong and that knowledge along with my faith and my own personal relationship with my God (as I perceive him) enables me to lead a full life. When I ask for guidance my God is always there and that is all that's 'tangible' for me.

i can only stand up for spirit here .. as most of the other dont apply to spiritualism
but with spirit there have been rigorous testing over decades to provide evidence for spirit communication
and my own study has left me in no doubt that we survive bodily death

all religions have somethings right, but they all have somethings wrong... Life and the universe are truely miraculous and I believe in a devinity of some sorts... but never any "God" who treats humans like puppets on a string and wishes them to destroy eachother just to satisfy His godly ego... bullshit if u ask me

I agree with you completely. All religions are man-made and are based on faith.
