HERE ARE SOME RECIPES I HAVE USED FOR PARTYS AND HAD GREAT SUCCESS.
TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA BITES
INGREDIENTS:
20 grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
20 fresh basil leaves
20 small balls fresh mozzarella cheese (often labeled bocconcini)
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
20 toothpicks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Using a toothpick, spear a half of a tomato, a piece of basil, a mozzarella ball, and another half of a tomato. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix the vinegar and oil together in a small bowl to serve as a dipping sauce.
BLOODY MARY BITES
INGREDIENTS:
1 pint cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™)
1 cup pepper flavored vodka
2 tablespoons lemon pepper
2 tablespoons celery salt
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Remove the stems from the tomatoes, and place them in a shallow bowl. Pour vodka over them so that they are covered. Stir in the hot pepper sauce. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
To serve, mix together the lemon pepper and celery salt in a small dish. Serve tomatoes floating in vodka. Provide toothpicks so that your guests may pick up the tomatoes and dip them in the seasoning before eating.

2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
24 pimento-stuffed green olives

In a small mixing bowl, combine cheese and butter or margarine. Stir flour and cayenne pepper into the cheese and butter mixture. Blend well. Wrap a tablespoon of dough around each green olive. Arrange the wrapped olives on a cookie sheet.

2 (8 ounce) cans water chestnuts, drained
10 ounces soy sauce
1 pound sliced bacon

In a medium bowl, marinate the water chestnuts in the soy sauce 6 to 8 hours, or overnight.

Bake in the preheated oven 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bacon is lightly crisp and evenly brown.

Hors d'ovres. Canapes. Appetizers. No big thing.
How about a Japanese thing called "rumaki". It's chicken liver, water chestnuts, bacon and teryaki sauce.
Take a slice of water chestnut, put a piece of chicken liver on it, wrap a slice of bacon around it and pit a toothpick through it to hold it together. Place them in a shallow baking dish and when you get it filled, pour teryaki sauce over all of it. Sit the baking dish in the refrigerator over night so the rumaki can maranade. Then put them on a cookie sheet, place in a 375 degree oven for about 10 minutes and pull them out. There you have it!
Or another favorite is Mexican queso (cheese dip). Take Velveeta cheese and Rotel tomatoes (with chiles in it). Melt the cheese in the microwave and add the Rotel tomatoes to the consistency you want. Then serve with tortilla chips.
Hope this helps.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with chicken wings. Put them in a crock-pot with some basic barbeque sauce, beer, and a bottle of Frank's Red Hot. The proportions don't really matter, just make sure the sauce covers the wings. Start the cooking in the morning, add beer as needed to counteract boil off, by game time, good to go. You could also do meatballs like this. Use Armour original meatballs. Sloppy Joe meat is also good with tortilla chips and easy. Have some beers. Everything tastes good then!

Lamb riblets.
These little riblets come pre-cut in 2 or 3 inch lengths and are packaged by the dozen. Divide the backs into idividual ribs, place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 for about 20 minutes.
Glaze the ribs before baking with either:
The liquid mint sauce (not the jelly) or
melted garlic butter, salt and pepper
Garnish a platter with mint leaves and toss the ribs onto the platter of leaves.
For dipping sauces try mint jelly or a mustard sauce, or even a sweet and sour sauce.
Lamb riblets are very inexpensive, super tasty, and and fast.

Go buy a 1/4 pound of regular boiled ham, sliced thin, some soft cream chees, and a bunch of green onions. Spread the cream chees on the ham slices and roll the onion in the ham/cheese mixture. Cut into 1" pieces.

I like dill pickles rolled in cream cheese and ham.
Those little sausages in grape jelly and chili sauce are pretty good too.
