All religions are flawed in that they profess that they are the only correct/proper/real one. There are "manmade" laws associated with organized religion. I don't think we need to go to a building and pay money to be spiritual. I don't like organized religion. People become too fanatical and illogical. It's blind faith.

I am a practicing Wiccan/Pagan. Due to the horror of the Inquisition, it became necessary to go underground and "pretend" to be one of the Christian faithful. To do otherwise, meant the loss of your life.

Today, I would like to see this spiritual path become more open. Yes it resurfaced in the 1950s but a great deal of it is still kept under wraps. Now I fully understand the "why" behind this course of action given the lesson of history but I've come to believe that if it were more open, the result would be a better understanding and vastly "less" Christian propaganda.

This could just as easily turn around and bite us on the posterior but I do think that knowing the truth about a group, be it religious or anything else, has the ability to defuse hatred and negative bias.

I was raised Southern Baptist and there were restrictions on everything. We couldn't go to dances, we couldn't wear pants, we couldn't go to the movies. It was horrible for my mom when she was younger, so she was easier on my brother and me. But we went to church Sunday Morning, Sunday afternoon, and on Wednesdays. Everyone was severely hypocritical of everything you did and our preacher felt the need to scare you into believing. "You're all going to hell." That kind of thing. I got a job when I was 16 and I couldn't go to church anymore. I've never been back. Now, I believe that Jesus did walk the earth, and he did have some good teachings, but the rest of the Bible was written by man, for man, to control man. I acknowledge that there is a higher being, and I leave it at that. The flaw of every religion is thinking that your God is the right God. That is so arrogant. If there were so many "Gods" then everyone would go to their own little version of Heaven, and that would be nice, but it's not logical.

My religion has the flaw of being Christian-like, and also people believe it to be unstable because of it's many different beliefs...it's so accepting that people don't think of it as a real religion. They think it will be flattened by the Athests.
Also that I believe that people go to hell, which is just a crying shame. But My religion is extremly tolerant....but then I am the only one in it.

The only flawless religion in the world is Islam. Though some people are trying to show Islam as bad, it is nonetheless the fastest growing religion in the world. Allahu Akbar (God is Great)!

There is no flaw in loving the living God and His Son Jesus.

There is no flaw in loving one another as Jesus loved us.

Those are the two greatest commandment (in order).

It's us flawed humans that goof things it. It's those that pervert the Holy Bible that are at fault, not being a follower of Christ.

Well, the bible says....

I don't belong to a specific religion. In fact, I dispise organized religion! I was raised for 20 years in a strict 'born-again' christian household and it was not beneficial to the life I'm living. It caused a lot of personal grief and family issues.

I find myself to be a 'spiritual' person, not a 'religious' one.

Therefore, my answer should not be viewed as anything more than just a personal rant.

Since all humans are flawed and humans invented religions and religious books, then all religions are flawed.
