Dont worry about what the family thinks. What does the 'crush' think of you? The fam must feel close to you, which is even better because you wont have to get that 3rd degree that a new chick would get. But watch out, because sometimes they will change on you if they feel you are spending too much time or getting to close to their child!

If your crush thinks of you as family, it might not go anywhere, but if it does it will be really serious. It sounds like you should know your crush really well and so you should know exactly how you feel about getting serious vs just wanting to make out.

If you talk about it and it doesn't work out, you should both be able to get over it. You could think about how just cuz you want tobe with someone as awesome as your brother does not mean you should date your brother. (Luckily youre not related so you have a chance!)

this could be a good thing, and a bad thing. good because he cares about you so much, he considers you that close to him, and to his family. he could see you there by his side at family events-that is a plus.
bad, because he might think of you too much as family. more like a sister than a girlfriend.
have him classify what he means to you. if he says "a sister", you know to back off a bit. dont hang around so often....but if he says something like "you just fit in"...thats a plus. try asking him out. :)
good luck!

Consider making them my best friend. It can develop into something else later. Always keep in mind that they only think of you as a friend unless you really want to be hurt. If this takes more effort than you want, time to move on.

Go outside the family. Doesn't seem like he wants you for a g/f.

crush...that's about right. feels like your chest is being crushed each time you get around them. Then when you find out they don't want you like that...you're crushed!

He might be moving things a little too fast. Unless you like that kind of thing, you better talk to him and let him know whats up?

Give him/her all up. He/she is hinting you that you're as close as his family to him and that nothing could ever happen between you.

Good Luck!
