My best friend WAS a fella. We spent alot of time together even shared the same bed after parties nothing ever happened.
THis went on 4 about 4 years all fine. but then he met her, she hated me she could not understand our friendship.she made him call me and tell me he did not want to b friends any more.
When I met him out alone, we would go 4 a drink and a chat all great but when she was around he had to blank me.I ended up feeling hurt, like I did somethin wrong. I have just found out why, he had been crazy about me but I never knew. I ended up loosin my best friend.
I get on better with fellas, my best friend now is a fella 2. he's single I'm just hopein when he meets a girl the same thing will not happen. so yes boys and girls can b friends if they both just leave it at friends just watch out when they meet soime1 or u do green eyed monster is still in us all! x

You ask if a boy and a girl can be friends,...my question to you is why not? Im a female and I have male friends...there is nothing wrong with that. Unless you're having some kind of thoughts in your head about certain intimate things with this boy or girl, and you are in a relationship already, then it becomes something different.

It is possible, but just a warning from 25 years of experience as a guy. Most guys, not all guys, but most of them will pay attention to/hang out frequently with a girl because they have some kind of interest in her. If you ask a guy friend about it, they may not admit it, but I think in the majority of cases this is true. From the girl's perspective, I am not sure how that works. I think girls might have an easier time being just friends than guys do.
I once dated a girl that this this guy who was her best friend. I hated it, because I would always tell her that a guy would not hang out with her all the time if he had no interest in her. She always told me I was wrong about it, that they were only friends and he knew that. After we broke up she called me and apologized because he advanced on her.

ONLY if they're under 12 or gay.
Girls may think that their male friend is only a friend, but secretly the man harbours thoughts of wanting to have sex with her, or at least do something inappropiate for just friends. He wants more
......and if he doesn't then he must be one of the rare sweet, honest and caring types and which girl wouldn't fall for that?

You can have a platonic friendship with an opposite gender. Although most of them ended up in the bed....it really depends a lot on the maturity of the mind.
Have fun!

Yes, but only if they are not attracted to each other. So if you are a girl and you are attracted to tall athletic boys, you should not try to be friends with tall athletic boys. You should be friends with short or regular height smart or funny boys.

Sure! A mature person knows where to draw the line. It's the immature that always blow it and wind up losing a good friend.
