It is pretty difficult to read through your question and understand it first time. This is mainly due to the fact that you haven't used any punctuation. The grammar (you should feel smug that you spelled this correctly though, many others didn't!) really isn't that bad once you put in the required question marks, commas and full stops! People (myself included, I'm afraid!) feel the need to correct others' grammar and spellings because, to them, the English Language is important and to see it being constantly eroded away by others who don't care one way or the other, is unpleasant!
The world is ever becoming more materialistic because people are becoming more greedy however, it doesn't need to affect your life. As long as, at least some people can still derive huge amounts of joy by doing the simple things in life, like walking in the countryside or along the beach, holding hands with the one they love, then there is always hope that the human race won't forget that life and the love in it are THE most important 'possessions' we can own!

It does seem mean to remove a perfectly ok question, which yours is. After all, you were not being racist or sexist.
Grammer does help people to understand you and your new question is a bit garbled because there are no full stops or capital letters to tell you when one idea ends and another begins.
Some people regard ungrammatical writing as rude, but then correcting someone's grammer could be seen as rude too. Would it hurt to use the spell checker? Or learn basic grammer?
As for your question, people have always been materialistic - I do not think we are any worse than our ancestors.

1) USE CORRECT GRAMMAR and you won't have the problem of other people correcting it.
2) The world has been too materialistic for at least three centuries, so this is nothing new. It certainly isn't "becomming to materialistic" (sic).
3) Try to pay attention in school. It will really help your job prospects in the future and allow you to continue the trend of materialism.
