it may take a few days and a few washings to get large amounts of build-up out of your hair.....keep using the clarifying shampoo

Even if you use a clarifying shampoo, the next time you use any styling product, build up begins again. At least once a week you should use it.

A cheaper way to clarify your hair...Use your regular shampoo and baking soda. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair use about a tablespoon of soda.

I received this tip years ago and it really works and it saves lots of money.

shampoo twice. if that doesn't work, try putting a little vinegar in you hair (leave on for like 1 minute), rinse out and then re-shampoo. stop using that hair product if it's that hard to remove from your hair!

You need to use less shampoo.

add baking soda to your shampoo..........
