There are any number of variations on soy milk. My favorite is the vanilla flavored, but it also comes in chocolate and strawberry. Plain soy milk is okay, but if you're expecting it to taste like millk, you'll be disappointed. Good for you for trying for a healthier diet! If soy doesn't work for you, skim milk is okay -- you still get lots of proteins and minerals (and calcium) from that, without all the fats and calories.

I can't tell you what it tastes like, but my granddaughter, who is lactose intolerant, drinks it and thinks that it is very good. She uses it on cereal, too. She also likes the chocolate soy milk. I think that the healthiest way to eat is to eat vegetables, fruits, grains, fish and chicken, and soy products. Fruits and veggies are especially nutritious eaten fresh. Eggs are all right occasionally. If you're especially fond of red meat and/or pork, you can eat it once in awhile. I feel much better when I eat this way.

I love soy milk. To me, the brands you get in the supermarket (like Silk) taste just like regular milk. But I'm Asian so I usually go to the Chinese grocery stores and get the fresh ones. They taste totally different. I can't really explain the taste, maybe more like tofu?

Although I have never drunk emulsion paint, soy milk tastes like I would imagine emulsion paint to taste, really YUK!
I really wanted to like it when I tried drinking it, it was AWFUL. So I tried putting it in my tea, it is just as bad!
It must be an aquired taste, but I have given up trying to aquire the taste!!!
Natural yougurt with a tea spoon of honey is much better for you than the rubbish that is put in the flavoured ones.

Yes, soy milk is good. In fact, other than its thinner consistency, it really tastes very similar to regular milk. I would also recommend trying the flavored varieties (vanilla or chocolate).

It is thick and dull tasting. I recommend eating it with something else, such as bread.
