You are blinded by all the l things that you like about them. Maybe even blinded by love. Sometimes it good when you are finding the good in someone but when you are so blinded that you dont notice the bad, then you need to back up off the person causing the beam to get a clearer view. Like when you sit too close to the tv.

Because when you are close to someone, you choose to see the best in them. Seeing the best in them reflects on your good points too. We see what we want to see. " Blinded by love." Says it best. You aren't capable of seeing unless it is pointed out to you by other people whose opinion you value.
