go back to the place where you had your very 1st date and tell her that this was the day you realized that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with her

When you've just made love and she is feeling satisfied. Right in bed. (If you don't believe in sex before marriage then I congratulate you, try the following:)

When you've just had an argument and shes crying her eyes out, tell her how much you love her and how you can't live without her and just ask her.

Take her to the place where you first met?

Think of somewhere that has a special meaning to the pair of you, such as the place you first kissed etc.

Maybe book a hotel in Ireland (5 star) with a great view and everything and ask her then.

Its not so much where but how you tell her. Make the moment special, the time leading up to when you ask her should be special. Use roses, candles anything, home is a perfect place you just need to take care of all the arrangements.

Oh my goodness there must be loads of lovely places in Dublin! How about somwhere by a huge lake on a crisp morning walk when the smell of autumn is in the air and the trees are all red coloured and the sun is shining off the lake------dreamy and romantic! x Good luck

At home, when its raining (shouldn't be too hard in Ireland) ! Hire some really girlie movies, preferably ones about marriage and love and happily ever after (blah, blah, blah). Get some popcorn, a blanket, hot chocloate and just when she's getting all misty eyed at the "special moment" (there's always one) in the movie then is your chance!
Whatever you decide to do though, she'll love it - because she loves you and you're obviously very much in love with her. I only wish my fiance had put in half as much effort :-) You're a good bloke! Good Luck!

Do you think she'll def say yes, then somewhere in public would be a good choice a supermarket checkout Aisle for example or for more romance over dinner.
Good luck where ever you ask her.
ps: does she come on here, maybe you could post it as a question, you'd def get a thumbs up from me?

It doesn't matter where you ask her as its the proposal that's important not the venue. A simple getting down on one knee and opening the ring box would bring tears to any woman's eye. Do it at home after you have cooked her a nice meal (or bought a takeaway) make sure you have champagne on ice for after the proposal. Be warned she will want to phone absolutely everybody so make sure you have plenty of credit on your mobile!

Take her to where the blarney stone is and arrange ahead of time for the man who holds you upside down to place a note upside down on the rock that says something like...

"Without the gift of gab, I had no words good enough to ask you, and since you are a woman, I figured I'd stop you before you got a chance to, by asking you; If you would please, do me the honor of becomming my wife and kiss me, forever, instead?"

Write it into the form of a limmerick if you want ti funny? I think this is sweeter...

When the man bends her over to kiss the stone, she will read this instead and ... There ya go!

doesn't matter where, it will be memorable anyways because of what it means.

The best part is the element of surprise. My husband asked me one afternoon while I was sitting on the computer. He said " hey can I ask you something?" so i turned my chair around and he was standing there with the ring....i never expected it at that moment, but it was amazing, iwas sooooo surprised.

Don't try and put too much thought into it, cause you'll probably start acting nervous and different and she probably suspect it

The traditional way used to Propose under Clerys clock and than off to the jeweller to buy a ring.
You can forget about the ring bit and next Sunday drag her up to O’Connell street and just do it.

How about just doing it at home. Make her a nice dinner (or order out if you don't cook). Put the ring on the stem of a rose and hand it to her after dinner. When she sees the ring drop down on to one knee and explain your feelings to her and pop the question. Good luck.
