i went into the bios setup and changed the DRAM settings from BYSPD to ultra. i saved and exit and all it does now is does continuous long beeps

And? If you want an answer youre gonna have to be more specific with details! Does it make noise? Does it beep? How many times does it beep? ETC!

It could be something with the plugging of power supply to the PC.

Try to check it out ! ! !

Or maybe the switch at the back of your CPU is in the off position... which would be the zero ( 0 ) press it to 1

I purely these days had this difficulty. i replaced into instructed to unplug and plug back in and it may do a similar component, however the difficulty replaced into this: The Surge protector replaced into burnt out! did you be attentive to they are purely meant for use at ability for no better than 5 years! After that they are no longer gauranteed and might short out. swap your surge protector and spot if that works. in case you're no longer utilising a surge protector, you will have burnt out your socket!
