There are people who are simply Islam-haters, and they would do anything to show Islam in a bad light. One of them is a Craig Winn, he is the master of quoting Quran out of its context. He has lost to brother Jalal Abul-Rub on a public debate. He was presented by surahs and their meanings and he couldn't say anything.
Billions of dollars are spent just to destroy Islam. Imagine if they could use that money for good use instead, like helping the poor and curing the sick.

The Christians do that all the time. It's only 1 verse that supports the Trinity... it's only one that supports Rapture.
And, um, as for taking it out of context, I've had Muslims send me hate mail with verses from the Quran proving to me that they are supposed to kill me because I'm an infidel. So it's not just ppl outside of Islam... it's ppl within too. Same as with Christianity.

You can simply overemphasize the meaning of a quote you can quote to put forward a more larger outlook.
example the Pope quoted a Byzantine emperor, didn't mean to insult anybody whatsoever,
in a quote also, you should read the text surroudning it, the major point
like in the poep' speech which was on Faith and Reasona nd how violence is unreasonable
he was indeed quite rational
soemthing people are jsut so sensitive and insecure bout their faith - why man?

Christians quote the Bible out of context all the time. How else can you explain David Koresh, Jim Jones, etc. etc.
My personal favorite out of context verse (used frequently when I was a smart *** teenager) was 1 Timothy, 5:23. "Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake".

Why would I go and slander the Quran? It actually supports the bible and says that people should listen to the scriptures that came before the Quran because they are true and trustworthy. Go and check it out in your own Quran and see for yourself.

Are you kidding? Most Christians could teach a class about how to take the bible out of context and use it to prove a judgmental point.

It's hard to get the Koran in context, because it is organized by length of sura rather than subject matter or chronology.
According to Mohammed, Allah has the right to change his mind, and often does.

Muslims do the same with the Bible every day to deny the Deity of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, the grace of God, and a dozen other things. It just isn't right... not nice at all when Muslims do it either!

Oh, believe me, they do it with the Bible, too (and anyother major religious text). There are always people who are too lazy to read the text and would rather quote it without understanding it, just to support their own misguided opinion.
Don't let it get to you...there are intelligent people out there...somewhere...maybe over that hill...no, not there....anyways you get my point.
