Obviously the overwhelming voice leading the Islamic faith preaches clearly that all Muslims should kill infidels. Mohammad should be accountable for his religious text which instruct Muslims to commit violent acts against the world they condemn for having different religious beliefs. Enraged to the point of rioting in the streets if a non-Muslim acknowledges the lack of virtue of a "Religion" that claims to Love God but celebrates killing people. The Pope finally pointed out the obvious truth which is very much represented by the violence in the Islamic response. If he were wrong these Muslims would have instead reached for their Koran and with its words shown he is wrong. Maybe then he should've apologized. But they proved he was right. Now the Pope submitted to their intimidating pressure by apologizing. I'd like know if he disagrees now with his prior statement?

He did, but should not have. The muslims have killed a catholic nun in Africa because of what the Pope said. Have they apologized for that? Why does the "religion of peace" protest by killing those who do not believe as they believe? Is this the peaceful way to handle things. The muslims will never stop their killing until they are defeated or forcible convert everyone to islam. A true religion does not force people to believe in their idea of god. Faith is a choice and should remain that way.

Well.U see every community has got its own ideals. And when a whole community is being victimised for what a small part of their communiy is doing,it becomes really unfair. And when a person who is held in great respect speaks out in the open against the most important preacher of Islam whom the Muslims hold in great respect they were naturally hurt.C'mon.i dont know ur religion but if some body had said that your religion preahes nothing but terrorism and violence and that the founder of your religion was a big zero, wouldnt u demand an apology?Well I fell the Pope should have been more careful while choosing his words.

F*** No!!! He merely quoted what someone 600 years ago said. He said something to the effect that Muslims are prone to violence.
Hmmm. Wait, what did those stupid muslims do? The proved Pope Benedict correct by rioting and also allegedly killing a Nun. You shouldn't have to apologize for being correct.

The Pope had nothing to apologize for. But, being a TRUE follower of Christ, he wishes peace, so he did. You won't see Amacha doing that. The Islamists want an apology from the Pope, how about one from the jerk pres. of Iran to Israel?

Jewish think of Jesus as a liar, and they also think of Mary as a liar, but they don't go around announce it.
the Pope is not a little child, he is a man with a position of responsibility, he should be aware that today is very sensitive time, where many people are being killed in Iraq, stealing Iraq oil, Lebanon and Palestine, Muhammad cartoon. and he doesn't know much about Muhammad just like a guy who is asking question in yahoo.
yes he needs to really apologize by visiting a Muslim country and say a statement there, because Muslims respected John Paul II who was respecting other people faith.
anyway, i forgive the man, i forgive him for his old age, and for his ignorant.

People criticize and bash Christians every single day but you rarely hear about it because no one ever demands an apology. It's the only group I know of that is always fair game for critics.
God forbid anyone dare speak a word that could be misconstrued about any other group.
