the rules vary! And, with bold typeface, and all the extras available on a computer-generated document, it varies a lot.
I would think generally, if it's an article from a magazine, you would put quotes around the magazine article title, and underline or Capitalize the magazine title itself, so that the reader could tell the difference.
"A Century old, the wonderful Brooklyn Bridge" by John G. Morris, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, May 1983, p.565
But---there are many variations of this. If you are footnoting, it's different. If you're writing a Master's thesis, it's different. Etc. Etc.
If you're doing this for a class, check to see exactly how your teacher wants it done, so your citations won't be wrong.
