OH well some girl from one of those countries over there sent it to me on the 'subject line' of an e-mail. Put i have no clue what it is...

Yes, it is a name. And you might got the weird symbols the first time because of the encoding. It happens very often on e-mails. Try to change the encoding, and you'll get the Cyrillics.

thats no language at all. Someone made it up by printing out some of the vowels and a mathematical symbol that are not on the English keyboard.

Whatever you just wrote is clearly not Russian. I have no clue what those symbols are but they aren't Cyrillic.

try changing your text encoding for cyrillic on the main menu bar. at least that's what helps me when i get emails in russian on my yahoo account.

they're just symbols , when the PC cant read the letters of language..
its not Russian :|
