Why not? No one knows who made this watch. How can you prove that it wasn't God?
What if it's a gorgeous solid gold watch, as beautiful as a sunset or a child's smile? Doesn't that prove that God created it?
Shouldn't we all agree to have faith that God created the watch?
What's that you say? There is PROOF that men and women make watches? Eyewitness proof? All kinds of proof. It's not just written up in one book, but in countless books?
Is it, perhaps, more logical to say, "I don't know who made this watch, and perhaps I never will?
Or do you have another theory?

No If we find a watch on the ground we should assume that it evolved.
Your argument is flawed, if you see something that takes a reasonable level of inteligence to create (a watch, car, plane etc) you assume that it has a creator. Yet something infinitely more complex (the human body, let alone the universe) you say they just randomly occured. "There is PROOF that men and women make watches" Yes, there is proof. But where? In a book? Have you seen someone make a watch, car or plane? Or are you relying on the information someone else gave in a book like Christians believe in the accounts in the Book of John or the letters of Peter.
And yes there is more than one book the Bible contains 66 books all in unison on the existence of God.

i think of what grew to become clean (or a minimum of much less foggy) is the realisation that there is a conflict that we adventure on the subject of God. i replaced into continuously inspired and dismayed by the degree of devotion that we are to have for God. it extremely is all or no longer something. perhaps we don't have the devotion now, yet we are to get on that prepare sure for that objective. If we are ever to discover our author, we could desire to continuously get on that prepare. If it is the only genuine thank you to discover my author, why no longer attempt? Ah, right here is the difficulty. we will not actual look for our author and nevertheless stay our lives as our very own grasp. God is the outstanding in love yet in addition the outstanding in authority over us. Therein lies the difficulty and it has no longer something to do with data. We reject God simply by fact we don't prefer Him to run our lives or we look for Him simply by fact we prefer to be attentive to and adventure Him.

What proof do you have that this God made a watch or anything else? You only have what people or books have told you. Second hand gossip to be exact.

No, my father was a watchmaker and worked very hard to become one. He actually had to tool all the parts at one time until the massed produced market came along and coined the advent of the " throw away " watch.

An athiest would say "the watch, through a series of random events, evolved." However, just like us, the maker will leave his/her mark on the watch, and thus prove that the maker exsist.
God made us, God forgives us(if you except His Son, Jesus Christ), and God Loves us (no matter what we do or say, even if we don't believe in him.)

Yes, I have a theory. Someone lost their watch on the street. God doesn't need a watch. He made time and His time is completely different from our time.

God made the materials that the watch is made of.
But men brought the materials together to make a ticking machine

You base your present conclusions on past experiences, and to be honest I can't really remember the last time god made me a watch
