Question about closeness and moving from friendship to more!!!!??????
I have this best friend, I'm a guy, she's a girl, we are 15 and have known each other for 2 years. When we hang out in a group, we are always standing close to each other. We playfully fight with and mock each other all the time. She calls me Reilly, even tho everyone else calls me by my first name and if they call me Reilly she gets anoyed. We are very comfortable with each other. On a couch we sorta lean into each other, anyway, I am pretty sure now that she likes me, an I know I like her, A Lot, so what should I do next? Should I test the waters by hugging her? An arm round the shoulder or waist? Any advice?

Specifically I want to know what I should do next and how.

Also, sholud I make it apparant to her that I am trying to change our relationship?

you could have one of your friends mention it to someone on purpose so she overhears it and see what her reaction is

First of all, this seems as if you're both just flirting with the idea of taking the friendship onto another level, but by what you've just described, I definitely think that she's really interested. A normal girl without any romantic feelings for you wouldn't get angry that other people call you the name that she does. Then there's the physical contact - by reading the actions that she takes you're reading the body language that she's trying to convey to you. If you like her and would like to see if she's really interested or not, be subtle. But I must say that she's probably wondering why you haven't made a move by now yet! So, be subtle but don't wait forever between the moves if you know what I mean. Start getting her alone and putting your arm around her, a little more physical contact and if she responds positively, then maybe you could be more daring and start holding hands. If you think holding hands comes after the whole asking her out thing, by increasing the physical contact and getting a positive response, you'll know then that you can ask her out and what she'll say. The key here then is to be subtle but don't keep her waiting because she might lose interest and that's not where you want to be. So, be bold and good luck!

Ahh, young love. Too sweet. Next time you are together, ask her to go for a walk. Reach out and hold her hand. If she accepts it. your good. Or if your sitting on the couch, watching a movie..ask her ...for a kiss. Sounds like she feels the same way but wants you to make the first move. Go slow. Be respectful. Good luck

My wife and I were friends before we were lovers and our relationship is awesome. Ask her if she's ever thought about you in another way. Be honest with her man, the best relationships start out as friendships. If you're the kind of friends you say you are then you should be able to talk to her about anything.

I would simply ask her if she would like to move to the next level. Don't let it get to you if she says no. Remember that friendship is alot harder to find! True friendship

i think you should just go for it and ask her out...she prolly likes you but she is too shy to ask you out because she doesnt know how you feel and doesnt want to get rejected so drop hints that you like her and then ask her out. good luck!

bring the subject up in like a kidding matter with her and see what she says.....if she acts like she is playing, let her know that you are serious. it sounds like you two like each other alot. i believe you will have a good outcome in this......good luck!!

Tell her...if we weren't such good friends, I'd love to go out with you. It works...takes a while but it does work.
