I'm against personally but my wife has used her "VETO" power on me concerning the new baby nursery.

Wall paper is a pain. Its not the putting it up its the taking it down when you want to redecorate. If you didn't put it up right it will be awful. I did faux finishes in my 3 bathroom and in the stairway. I get so many complements. People say . What kind of wall paper is that I cant find the seams. You can do sponge, rag, or different textures. I'm a fan for the sponge. I have use 2 different colors of the same shade. I have put the lighter color on first, then sponged the darker shade over. I have also done the opposite for a totally different effect. Many home improvement stores or paint stores have free classes. It usually only takes one class to learn it. Its not hard believe me or i wouldn't have done it so often. You could say its all in the wrist. Different pressures look different.I always practice on white paper or poster board before I start to see how the colors look. In the bathrooms I practiced in the tub area since it was going to be covered buy the tub surround. That way I got the total effect. I did a very light peach with a slightly darker peach over it. and I used a very light pressure when sponging. It looks like lace. I could email you pictures if you would like.

One wallpapered wall can create a huge impact in a home. You can even tie it to the rest of the room by choosing a coordinating border and run it the entire way around the top of the room. If your walls are high enough, wallpaper looks absolutely stunning on the ceiling, too.

I wallpapered the wall behind my king size bed . The other walls are painted in a color that compliment the paper . It looks very modern and super nice . When you want to change color you can just choose an attractive shade of paint to go with the paper .
Good luck and enjoy .

I think covering just one wall is ideal. That way you get the Look without all the problems when it's time to remove it. Also if it is on one wall it will be just an accent and you won't get sick of looking at it. Be sure it's a print that you absolutely love!

as an accent, it would be fine if that is what you want. keep in mind that if you ever want to remove it go back with paint, that it is a tedious task and requires care to not damage the walls. as a rule, i don't use it but they have some nice patterns out there.
