Sometimes diarrhea is triggered by allergy to something in the food you just ate. If the allergic reaction is directed at epithelial cells (e.g. the lining of the gut, respiratory tract and skin), then it is likely that you may feel itching on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. You could also experience itching around your nostrils and lips. Some viruses that target epithelial cells and cause diarrhea could do this too, and there could be post viral allergy with symptoms like what I mentioned above.

I would have to say it is dehydration,since your feet tend to be dry anyways, the extra lack of fluid in your system can dry them out even more.Its the same principle as when you have the flu your skin dries out .
