my x-husband has 3 dwi's in the last 6 years does he have a restricted license --- is he not allowed to drink alchohol without being at risk to lose his license?

I don't know, but he should.

He's putting other people's lives at risk. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that... my mother does the same thing and it breaks my heart.

he shouldn't have a license at all. The three DWI's are only the number of times he was caught, not the number of times he did it. If he is so heartless as to endanger the lives of innocent people, he does not deserve to drive a car for any reason.

sounds like he should have a restricted license. Drinking and driving are illegal and if he has been caught 3 times, he has most probably done it many more times than that.

I would hope that if he has 3 DWIs that he'd be in jail, and driving wouldn't be an issue.
