Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Depends, if you are the only one he calls hun. Then maybe he may like you. If not, then you might just be friends in the foreseable future. And how does say it. Look at his face when he says it. Is it casual, or with thought!!! Good Luck
PS Call him hun back see what he thinks.

Uhm.... it depends
over a year ago i started working at my office and the officce manager called me "hun" & "sweetie"....at first i was weird about it but then all the guys and woman in this office went along with that and then I startted to attend to a Tea Kwan do class and the master called me "hun" & "Sweetie" and after him all the guy Instructors did too. Then i began to realize that they nickname me this because thats how they showed their affection towards me.....So i dont mind them calling me this if anything it makes me realize that maybe i am really sweet enough for every one to call me sweety and its weird cuz not everyone that calls me that know each other....and almost everyone i know calls me "hun or sweety even people i dont know......wait! maybe they dont like my name .....um ok now you have wondering .......Arlene is a good name no?! ...I love my name :}
well anyways yeah no dont look into it too much unless it getts physical.

It depends. Some people (like myself) call everyone "hun" (I think it's a Baltimore thing). If he calls you and only you "hun" he probably thinks you're cute and is flirting with you. So listen to what he says to other people as well as to you. Better yet, if you're *really* curious as to whether he likes you or not, just ask him.

Totally depends on what part of the world you are from as hun could just be a nice coloquial expression. like darling in london or kinny in newcastle. try calling him hun back to find out or beter still, ask him how much he likes you.

Don't read anything into terms of endearment. I had a guy flat out call me his girlfriend and we weren't even a couple. Watch his actions they will tell more.
