Yes, there is a shot but it can have unpleasant side-effects. My vet doesn't recommend it. It would be better to simply have her spayed.

Vets can perform a spay while the mother is pregnant, thereby aborting the puppies, but it'll cost you more than if you had done the smart thing and got her spayed beforehand.

Get her spayed. They will abort the pups during that time. Very sad... but I guess better than contributing to the pet over population.
I had adopted a cat and didn't know she was pregnant when I got her. I let her have the babies and about 3 weeks after they were born she went into heat again. I wasn't sure at the time but I had a suspicion that she was pregnant again. I went and got her spayed and they aborted the one kitten she was pregnant with. Very sad.

Ya'll are a bunch of rich girls. Man, Livingston parish la. is so for behind on animal control you would not believe. I can't get help from anyone that gives a ****. Like they can't develop a birth control pill for animals. You all would call that cruelty to animals. This type of thinking is catch 22 ism.

That would be cruel and unnecessary. You allowed her to get pregnant, you should deal with the consequences. Let her have the babies and let her raise them and wean them, then find them all good homes. After that get your dog spayed, that is the most responsible thing you can do and is what's best for your pet's health and happiness. In fact, get a written promise from the people who adopt the puppies that they will get them spayed/neutered once they are old enough. It's cruel to allow pets to get pregnant when there are already so many unwanted animals out there.

Have your dog spayed and your problems are solved.
I do not know of anything you can give a dog to make them abort and when a vet does it they usually spay the dog at the same time.

Take her to the vet, if you try other things you will possible kill you dog along with the puppies.
She should be spayed, and you should let her have her puppies and give them away, and spay her after. Its sad you want to kill the puppies.

There is a canine equivalent to the "morning after pill", but it doesn't always work. Consult your vet for more information and to see if it's a viable option in your situation.

If she is early into pregnancy, take her to the vets to have then aborted if not wanted, it is the only safest way.

As far as I know there isn't anything you can give her, let her have the puppies and then get her sprayed.
