I am in intercessory prayer and for many years I had a calendar where I put my prayer requests on but the calendars keep falling apart.

My question is what is a good way to have a prayer journal to write people prayer requests down and keep records of answered prayer?

I need something compact, practical that I can take with me wherever I go, can you reccomend a good journal or a note book?

Just keep a normal journal and jot things down with the times and dates. Also, try going to worldprayerteam.org where you can pray for prayer requests for people around the world, and also keep an online prayer journal. Pretty cool stuff...

You know the notebooks that have a pink line down the middle? I'm not sure what the technical name is for them....
Those are the best, because you can write the prayer on the left and keep track of the answers on the right. They aren't as big a regular notebook either.

A small (3 1/2" X 4 1/2") composition book, like you probably had in fifth grade will do the trick, although recently, I switched and added it to my PDA.

try getting either a paperback or hardbound journal from any reputable book store either locally or on line if a regular book store can't get what you're looking for try a religious book store. one sight you might want to try on the Internet is www.onespirit.com as they have a journal available for their members.

I would use a spiral binder. But I would be interested in the percentage of prayers that you have had answered favorably (you got what you wanted) and the percentage negatively, and if you feel the negative answers eventually made sense to you. Thanks

no longer precisely. I do have a gratefulness mag, nevertheless. two times a week, I checklist each and every thing (and that i propose each and every thing) that i'm grateful for, and take inventory in what's sturdy in my life. It minimizes the complaining and whining and "woe is mee" that lots of folk get locked into.

A little notebook works well. I guess it depends on how detailed your lists get. Mine used to always be very short lists with almost no detail.

I don't get why you want a record. If there were a God she/he would know what you prayed for and unless you wanted to hold him/her to account as to why some were never answered why would you need the full list?
